Your loss
I was sorry to see that June could not appreciate that the loss of this little dog hurts as much to your child as any other bereavement. A loss is a loss no matter whether it is your pet, friend or relative. And by the way, I should know as our family has a memorial on this site for a beloved husband, dad and grandad we all lost not long before Christmas. Of course your child will grieve - please tell her I am so sorry and her dog was lucky to have someone love her so much.
